A running joke in SEE, the Burrito Blanket has a rich history trailing back to around 2023.


Now it is exactly what it sounds like.  It's a blanket, that looks like a burrito.  Don't try to eat it, you'll be biting into a blanket, rather than a flour tortilla.  It was given away as a raffle prize at SEE, and to model it off, Mr. Deitch wore it on the call.  This then sparked off much laughter and then when SEE came around again, another blanket was given away to another student.

So far, around three blankets have been given out as prizes.  However, Mr. Deitch says that he's been messaged by several people telling him they have a burrito blanket that the bought on their own.




People often comment that winning the blanket is better than any other prize.  It is considered the highlight of the raffle.
