NSA Time

Revision as of 15:05, 28 November 2023 by GabingLord (talk | contribs) (needed clarification, what do you think Owen? Also should we change some pages to have NSA time?)

NSA time corresponds with earth time, such as books like Narnia. Narnian time and earth time intersect but are random in span. Not so with NSA. An NSA year is one quarter of a school year. This does make the second year longer (because it includes not just the last school quarter, but also summer, think of it like a leap year). The first NSA year is actually the spring school quarter. This means that while NSAy's follow school quarters, it does not actually follow school years, and it spans two school years, say 2019-2020 school year, and 2020-2021, so we use the -2 to show the last two quarters of the school year 1997-1998 that were not in NSA history.

So, to get NSA years from Earth years:

([current Earth year] - 1998) * 4 - 2 = Rounded NSA years

from NSA to Earth is:

([NSA years] - 2) divided by 4 + 1998 = Rounded Earth time

Because NSA was founded in 1998, it is the base value added or subtracted.

Further information

Rounded Time: These are only full Earth years, or NSA years that are multiples of four. This is when you can use the above equations without further complication.

At my time editing this post it is 2023 earth time, on August 14. This means that (2023 - 1998) * 4 - 2= 98. BUT, public schools in the US just started the first school year quarter (I am writing this while procrastinating on Dual Credit Statistics), this means that a new NSA year has started, so, it is in fact NSAy 99.

NSAy: NSA year [insert year here]

Random Significant Events in NSAy's

NaAT's life span: 30 - 78 NSAy, NaAT had a lifespan of 48 NSAy's

NSA is right now 100 NSAyears old (subject to change as time goes on) (11/28/2023, winter semester)

The Rise of FED: ~86 NSAy

Fall of FED: ~87 NSAy

The NSAy Centennial (100 NSA years old): The 2023-2024 Winter semester, this also means NSA is 25 real life years old.
