Today I watched the birds
They flew and chirped with glee
They sing for whom?
And for whom so gloriously?
Then I knew,
It came to me,
That birds don’t sing
For you or me
They have no notion,
No care for praise;
They have no fear
Of social disgrace.
They lift their songs
For only One
Their Creator, they deem
The worthy One.
