Editing The Diary of Agent Flopi, Book 2 (section)

NSA city, after the end of the [[The Communist Revolution|Communist revolution]]:

Pontill tower, 52nd floor:

7:54 pm

Titus sat with his feet on the desk, head behind his head, leaning back in the office chair.  The rain pattered on the window with the occasional thunder and lightning.  He sat there, in the quiet dark, looking out of the window.

So, I lost the war.  What else can I do?  My allies and contacts are whipped clean.  Nothing to build up to, nothing to start with.  Heck I‘m even watched by the Council with cams and spies to prevent me doing it again.  What can I do?  Everything I tried failed.

He got up and paced around.

No I still have allies… Ethan and Micah, but they are still watched as well…

He stood in front of the window with his hands behind his back.

You know what, I’ll play the good guy for now.  But later, I need a weapon, I need the power backing that the Revolution gave me.  I need terror to strike fear into hearts.  Wait…  Fear is my ally here, I know what brings fear, and I was close to getting it last time I tried.  I just need to try again…  And this time, no revolution, and no armies, just me and my friends, with a weapon that will rule them all….

He sat down and started to write a note.  He stuck it on his to-do wall, left, and locked the office.  The note simply said, “Operation Mando hunt.”

Here begins the Story.

The sound of the crack when the body hit the ground was loud.

There in the crater made by the beskar breaking and the impact force, lay the beaten body of Flopi.  He was dead.  Yet, this was not Flopi at all.  It was a hard projection of what might have been a hologram.  Yet in the armor Joshua never had a holo-projector.  The armor itself was not real.

Titus had found this out during the autopsy (in which he paid off a few people).  Joshua Edmiston was not dead as believed.  Yet Joshua Edmiston fought Titus.  Someone had saved Flopi DURING the fall.  AND THEN that same someone had placed a hardlight construct AND FULLY OPERATION BESKAR ARMOR THAT WAS AN EXACT REPLICA.  All was there, but not the helmet.

For Titus, however this was interesting news.  He knew that Flopi wouldn’t say anything about the bomb in fear that it would be taken away from him.  But Flopi would also need to hide from Titus, as he knew that once Titus knew that he wasn’t dead, Titus would put out a team to find him.

Another bit of information involved Titus.  Titus had gotten away with supposedly “Killing” Joshua, but he couldn’t get the @tom bomb.  He and his friends all had alibied their way to why they were not even there.  It looked like a freak accident.  The autopsy had shown the construct, so people wondered where Flopi had gone.  But then because of the failed Revolution, Titus was almost under lock and key, so to show a council member informant where the @tom bomb was would kill his plans.  After all, only Flopi, Sam, and Cristy even knew where the bomb even was.  The rest of the world never knew.  Titus capitalized on Flopi being gone and called a search for Joshua, which the council approved as him as leader.  This gave him complete control over a search party for the @tom bomb, while looking like the good guy.
