On August 14th, 2023, [[Jared Lemmon|Jared L]] made a post in the Courtyard saying, "It's almost that time of year- the time of year the Stucco emerges from their desolate caves and brings the party to this place 👀"

Fifteen minutes later [[Nathan Rexroth|Nathan R]] responded, "...visible concern" and over the next few days a couple people jumped in saying he'd better get hyped for this next year. Jared L and [[Michaela O'Halloren|Michaela]] both made jokes about Nathan being attacked or put on a StuCo hitlist aaaaannnndddddddddd war.

On August 16th [[Jacob Grady]] joined in saying, "i'm here", "does that help?", and finally, "i start war". And so it began, Jacob fired a couple "potatoe"s at Jared L and [[AnneMarie Fitzwater|AnneMarie F]] (both StuCo members), and it was off. Minor food fighting between StuCo members, Jacob, and anyone else who chose to join in.

[[Cora Metzger|Cora M]] (StuCo President) brought up [[Anna Barry]]'s Ice Cream Truck, "DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE I CAN FIND ANNA'S ICE CREAM TRUCK?!?!" and [[Naomi Eulster|Naomi E]] (StuCo member) "'''Goes into my shed, rummages around and pulls out the dusty truck'''" (Apparently the truck is back folks)

Cora offered a peace offering (a cookeh (wonder what that was about u_U)) Which two people took??? Hallie took it and Nathan ate half of it- and then proceeded to eat the other half, "...BOOM I HAVE BASICALLY EATEN A WHOLE COOKEH WITHOUT EATING A WHOLE COOKEH" (apparently without dying though this should be verified).

Still on August 16th, Mr. Hester comes in to put us in our place, "Why on earth are people staying in desolate caves so long? Come into the LIGHT, everybody!" (Though [[Ryan Boren]] replied with a picture of a weird guy with a mustache and beard, and the word "NO." underneath)

On August 17th [[Gabriel Nelson|Gabe N]] came in with, "what happened here", and "'''communist revolution vibes'''". After which [[Elijah Smith]] joined in responding "we can kill the stuco prez if thats what you mean", "We need the peoples republic of nsa".

Gabe responds "if you try and take over stuco I will form an army to take you on" and the ''war'' part of the war takes off.

Elijah in turn calls [[Jacob Grady]], "Jacob will you join me in fighting the overlords and bringing power to the people" saying that he will take up the war, if Jacob will join him.

(Jacob seeks to understand what the sides are, wants to be neutral, but after settling some things he (and the "Spam empire") eventually joins Elijah, along with [[Ernest Cornejo|Ernest (Earl) Cornejo]], beginning the war)

People begin picking sides (including Earl's joining the Anarchists), and the war kicks off.

(Elijah also went off on a minor "WALRUS" rampage renaming some chats and posting "WALRUS" both in the war thread and others)

Cora gives us one last message, "Yeah let's just keep in mind that the point of this is to help teams be more active again, and if a single person is too powerful in an RP then everyone gets bored and stops" and RP fighting commences.

Anti StuCo group originally lead by Elijah Smith (Later Ernest (Earl) Cornejo gained power, and they eventually split ways both leading armies under these names but declaring the other to be an outlaw)

(Note from Ernest: Behind the scenes, I (Ernest P.) and Hudson Brott had cooperated to plan our rise in power in the Anarchists, even when Elijah split ways shortly before the war ended. This had occurred later into the war. )

* The Royalists/Loyalists

The Pro-StuCo group "Led" by Gabe N, with [[Hallie Griffin]] as "Queen". Standing up for both the StuCo as they are amazing people who work to make our time here better, and declaring themselves Anti-Communist.

* [[Sarah Thompson]]'s group (I don't know if it has a name)

Sarah Thompson joined, spied on, or spied for (not really sure) the Royalists (she was in the Royalists chat at one point but was removed as an infiltrator (though this may have been a sham to throw people off)), she joined the Anti-StuCo group, was eventually kicked out of their army as a spy for the Royalists (maybe she was- maybe they just believed she was), and she began to form her own group (though as far as I know they did not take any action before the war ended).

* The Spampire/Spam Empire/Spam Kingdom?

A group lead by Jacob Grady, the "Spam King". They originally joined the Anti-Communists, but did not take any action whatsoever in the war itself, and later they signed a treaty with, and officially joined, the Royalists, though there was still no action seen on their part. (Lack of visible activity continued to the end of the war)

"To be honest I was pretty busy and wasn't able to keep up with the war near the end. I logged onto teams after being offline for a day, and went to one of the Royalist group chats. Everyone was saying that some people had gotten very...emotionally invested, shall we say...in the war. We agreed it would be best for everyone to end the war. A peace treaty was drafted by the Royalists and sent to the Pro-Communist groups. Several members of the Anti-StuCo/Pro-Communist groups said that this peace treaty meant the Royalists were surrendering. Royalist members asked the others to let it go, but arguments continued until I (Cora M) and Jared Lemmon (StuCo Content Creator) officially shut down the war thread with these messages:

"As StuCo officers Jared and I are stepping in to say it looks like this turned into more than a fun food fight, and it is time to stop. Thank you. Please do not comment on this thread anymore." --- Cora Metzger (August 31, 2023)

Although I didn't have a lot of time to spend staying up-to-date on the current military events, I had a general idea of what was going on. There were myriad factions on both sides, however, and it was very chaotic. I was a little bit confused about wHY people were fighting against StuCo - they claimed tyrany. However, when I asked them for their specific complaints against stuco, they didn't give any reasons. In response to one person claiming that they were fighting against the tyranny of StuCo, this is what I said:<blockquote>and what tyranny is this? is StuCo holding you down, stopping you from saying what you want?

I think not. From what I can see, you're fighting just for the fun of it - not for any real cause. it's not like you have even come to stuco with any complaints, ever - one day, you were bored, and so declare war.

StuCo is only trying to maintain its rightful position of power, eLECTED power, not power forced over the masses by a few who claim to be someone special.We stand for the people. We stand against anarchy, or worse, dictatorship. If the "communists" win, what will stop Earl from assuming the role of "leader," and thus essentially becoming a dictator?

We already have a leader - one that the people of NSA elected. They have chosen their leader. Will they not now stand behind that choice, and defend StuCo, defend themselves, and defend NSA itself from this anarchy?make your choice. I hope you choose wisely</blockquote>I got no response of any real complaints against the leadership of StuCo. I personally think that either people were bored and wanted to start a war, or just wanted to be the leader of a bunch of students, and so they needed something to fight against. Neither of those things are necessarily wrong - I wasn't trying to end the war because the opposing side had unsupported views. Things did start to go a little bit too far, however. A few people were abusing BoP, and some personal insults were made against individuals on Student Council. In general, tensions were rising, and it was no longer fun, it was just stressful and chaotic. So, we decided that the best thing to do would be surrender/forfeit. Technically, we lost, although some people would deny it. However, we gave up the fight for the greater good, as we did not want things to escalate to the point where admins would have to come in. So, in the end, it could be said that we lost. No one in our group really wanted to surrender, but we all knew that it was the right thing to do. Wars are tricky, folks. If people take it too seriously, tensions rise, and hurtful words can be said. I'm not against role-playing wars at all; I think they can be a lot of fun. I do think we can learn a lesson from the 2023 revolution, though - don't take things too seriously. If people are getting personally insulted, and it's no longer fun, you know things have gone too far.

"Prior to what Cora had discovered, I was - like several other participants in the war - too emotionally invested into the war. Tbh, it was when I finally lost my steam in an argument that some of the Royalist group members had noticed that the tensions in the war had gone far too high. As Cora had said, when the peace treaty was being drafted, a few of us Anti-Stuco/Pro-Communist members had believed (or hoped) it to be a surrender from the opposite side. Eventually, however, one of the Loyalists - Avi [Reedy] - cleared things up with me in a one-on-one discussion and explained things - that (1) my outburst was wrong, (2) that I (and a few others) were too emotionally invested in the war, and (3) that the war had to end in order to prevent things from getting worse. Eventually, with her convincing, I did calm down and came to accept that the war had indeed gone too far... and Hudson couldn't have agreed more when he explained the treaty to me.

However, by then, this had left only Elijah Smith holding on to the belief that the peace treaty was a 'surrender'. This then continued on until StuCo officers Cora M. and Jared Lemmon stepped in to shut down the thread permanently. The moment the thread closed, the war ended, and all other amends were made. Thus ended the second of the Hostility Wars"

"I still believe that we won, yet even today StuCo still oppresses me, all they seem to be are cops who through parties. I, the leader of the communists never agreed to a peace treaty. After Earls Rampage, and Cora shut down StuCo's side, but I made it very clear that the communists do not surrender. In my opinion that is either a stalemate, or a narrow communist win. I still also still believe the students of NSA can unite and rebel again. I also think that arguments are a natural part of life, and while they should not be encouraged, we should not be afraid. At any moment anyone should be ready to argue or fight for what they believe in. I also think that exclusivity and separation are another natural occurrence in life. People seperate into groups of people with similar views as them. Sometimes these groups are large and other times these groups are small. I think that controversy is another part of life. We are not robots, we do not all believe the same things, and some people get offended, thats another thing that happens. In my opinion life sucks, get over it."

BookWyrm: Modified my note about the family tree, as I have resigned from my job keeping track of the family tree.

NSA families may sound like a uncomfy topic, but they actually aren't. These are basically when a group of people just wanna play "house" in a way. They'll act like siblings, call each other "mom" or "daughter" etc, use it in fights, for alliances etc. It's just a fun way to interact with people.

== NSA Siblings ==
Oh, the joys of having a sibling on NSA. For those of you who do not know, NSA sibs are basically your tour guide through the school. Each newbie can request an older sib to help them figure out this crazy online world and our amazing Welcome Committee Leader will find someone who is just the right fit for the newbie in question. I had a few younger sibs when I was in the WC. In fact, Amilia Sedin-Chan was one of my younger sibs, and look how she turned out! xD

One time, I found this very intriquate, very confusing paragraph written by Danielle van den Akker. Let me see if I can find it... *digs through some dusty crates* *knocks one over* *dust goes flying everywhere* *coughHACK* *wheezes* *cough* *squeaky voice of triumph and allergies* I found it! *waves a piece of paper up in the air* *navigates back out to safety* @_@ Remind me to bring one of the mythical vacuums from the [[The Coldstone Creamery's Closet|Cold Stone]] next time, okay? Anyway... *ahem* *reads*

Okay, so Marie is my grandmother, yet somehow she is my sister too. Marie's siblings are Cece, Elyse, Robert, Nathan, John, and Kallie... which somehow makes them my great aunts and uncles... but, no, I am not any of their sisters. Kallie is also Marie's twin sister. Marie's four children are Abbie, Austin, Christe, and Charles. That makes them my aunts and uncles, yet Christe is also my sister and Austin is both my great, great grandfather and... brother... Which would make Austin Marie's dad and son... And then ther is Angie... who is apparently the Quad's Aunt because she is Cece's sister... And also there is Gayle who is Abbie's evil twin... Then Stephen fits into all our lives somehow... Then we have Andrew... who is "supposedly" related to Austin in some way... which would make him related to the rest of us... but that is unclear... Oh, I forgot, Tim is also Abbie's evil twin...Then we have Sarah who says she is my great aunt... which would make her related to someone somehow... We also have.

xD And that just about sums it up! Confused yet? No worries, we all are. But all you really need to know is that NSA Sibs are awesome, and if you want one or want to become one, just contact our WCL, Madison Stroup and she'll get you all fixed up! =D

== NSA Marriages ==

This next subject is highly iNSAne and rather absurd, but it does happen so don't lynch the messenger, k? =D

Following the theme of romance...

Honestly, I'm not sure why this one belongs in here because there's absolutely no romance involved in NSA weddings. For some reason, some kids here get really crazy occasionally and decide to get "married" just for fun. I don't know why. And I don't know where this originated. I've been present at two "weddings:" Joel Raines and Raegan Allinder, and Birdie Koski and Shalom Cross. The first with Joel and Raegan was quite spontaneous and involved the birth of a pizza that we all later ate at the reception (strange but delicious xD). Birdie and Shalom's wedding wasn't nearly as elaborate, which also means that I don't remember it as much, but I do know that they got "divorced" later because they were "growing apart" and Birdie wanted to "marry" Matt Brungardt, and we all know that polyandry is bad U_U

Now then, I personally have never been iNSAnely married (or any other married for that matter) but I was the officiator for Joel and Raegan's. Really, it's just the normal wedding ceremony except there's no true purpose except for silliness. Honestly, this is really hard to explain without sounding completely absurd =P

Oh! I know what it could be compared to! You know that fantastic game that everyone used to play as kids: House? Oh. House was the best. You got to pretend that you were the pregnant mom, or my favorite, the crippled aunt from England that always got to fuss at everyone xDD Anyways, this is basically NSA's version of House xD

Another mawwige was [[Anna Barry]] and [[Samuel Hewitt]] in 2020. This was on a call with a person acting as "officiator," and of course was party-crashed. The "relationship" didn't last and they never took it seriously. However in 2024, a new thing came into play: [[ADHD Powers]]. This led to a fateful conversation between [[Jared Lemmon]], [[Elijah Smith]], and [[Porter's page|Porter Lewis]]. The conversation was a fun one: [[Gabriel Nelson|Gabe]] said [[Porter's page|Porter]] was cool. Jared asked who Porter was, and Elijah replied "Your mom." Jared said, "oh hello mother," to which Gabe replied "<small>waitthatmeansimmarriedtoporter.</small>" Elijah then made it canon with the newfound [[ADHD Powers]], and the rest is history.

The third was [[Grace Ansley]] to [[Jared Lemmon]], where Gabe took a bit of revenge, shipped them together, and then used some shoddy evidence backed by ADHD powers to marry his own son against his will to Grace.

According to the law of Porter, mawwiges that have been made with [[ADHD Powers]] are binding forever.

[[Jacob Grady]] and [[Gabriel Nelson|Gabe Nelson]] of the [[Science Guild]] said that if the participants play along for a day, the mawwiage is binding. There is no diworce unless there is a good reason, both agree to the diworce, their children and their children's children agree to the diworce, and there are third party witnesses (including someone acting as Judge with ADHD powers).<ref>This became a hotly debated topic when Jared wanted to divorce Grace. Gabe didn't want them to divorce, and tried to keep them from doing so by claiming ADHD powers. However, Jared claimed to not know about the original marriage the first day, and thus it was not binding. The current NSA marriage laws are under review in the court of Judge Jacob.</ref>

* This is not husband and wife, because that's even more weird (and probably heretical), and there does need to be a limit. So, the term is "dueting" under iNSAnity, 'till 13th bridge do them part. <ref>This is the new term, as of 2024. "The original terms were hubby and wifey united in holy mawiage (like the priest in Princess Bride) 'till the 13th bridge do them part." In September 2024, a group of people decided that these terms made it seem too much like marriage, and they didn't want that, so they chose a new term.</ref>

== List of Families ==
One of the first successful ones was [[Gabriel Nelson|Gabriel]], [[Dorshea Goh|Dorshea]], Everett, and [[Micah McFarland]] and siblings, with [[Tirzah Hopkins|Tirzah]] as the mom. This family combined with [[Esther Noeth|Esther Noeth's]]. She had two sons, [[Jared Cheaz]] and [[Caleb Calhoun|Caleb Calhoun]]; and three daughters, [[Saron Mengistu]], [[Kaitlyn Stephan]], and [[Meredith Schmidt]]. [[Ruth Hopkins]] was Tirzah's sister (ofc they were.) [[Elsa Powers]] and [[Anna Barry]] were Tirzah's children. These three families formed into the same one, with Ruth Hopkins, Tirzah Hopkins, Shawn-David Logan and Esther being siblings in the same family. [[Katelynn Rogerson|Katelynn (Kate) Rogerson]] was their cousin. This formed around 2019-2020. Another family joined when [[Ruthie Overholt]], adopted a lot of children. A few of them were Dorshea, [[Fianna DePater|Fianna]], De’Arkyia, Anna Barry, and Elsa Powers. No one remembers all of Ruthie’s children. (She had even more grandchildren than she did children, too.) This semi-combined with some rugged edges with the family above to make the iNSAne family, which was very active during the 2021-2023 Dark Age. This gave Gabe Nelson a dad in Noah Howard, and created one of the first NSA couples.

In a separate family, Kasandra (Kasie) Gillum-Carr and Gabriel (Gabe) Lam Yuen have three children: Kaitlyn Stephan (oldest), Jared Cheaz (middle), and [[Naomi Noeth]] (youngest). The family also has an uncle: [[Ryan Boren]], and an aunt: [[Saron Mengistu]] (This family is all gone).

The most recent family is the Haagenson Family, with a tree down below (which isn't complete). Started by the Haagenson sisters (Sarah and Anna), this family included [[Cora Metzger|Cora]], [[Sarah Haagenson|Sarah H]], [[Sarah Thompson|Sarah T]], [[Gabriel Nelson|Gabe]], [[Silas Miller|Silas M]], [[Noa Noll|Noa]], [[Avi Reedy]], [[Jared Lemmon]], [[Anna Haagenson|Anna]], [[Hallie Griffin|Hallie]], Tim (who was disowned after he left teams), [[Porter Lewis]], and [[Grace Ansley]]. Hallie, Anna, and Jared make up "The Chaotic Triplets," in which Hallie is the oldest, then Jared,<ref>[[Lesser StuCo Member]]</ref> and then Anna as the baby of the three. Gabe is ADHD power mawwied to Porter, and Jared is ADHD power mawwied to Grace. Jared and Grace have two children, Esther Yang and Jenna Guyant.

In the words of [[Esther Yang]], "Last month (around July 2024), in some weirdly insane and confusing way, [[Nathan Rexroth]] and I got married ._. (or mawwied, idk XD) A month later, he agreed to adopt my daughter, Adelyn, and then we both adopted Jonathan Wu, Mark Huang, and Evan Cho. Because I'm in this weird mix up of the iNSAne family and the Haagensons fam- Nathan and I decided it'd be less confusing (or at least hopefully less confusing) to create our own family tree and family name" They have now split off and become "familia potato".

(Because Gabe has constantly called Tirzah his mom, his side of the Haagenson family blends into the iNSAne Family and his older Family with Tirzah. This means that [[Ruthie Overholt]] is a Great Great Great Great Grandmother to [[Jenna Guyant]] [not [[Esther Yang]], as she is a jagged edge in the family, as she is already a part of the iNSAne family]).

I [[User:BookWyrm|Noah Pendley]], have kind of resigned from my position as family tree maker, but the following two images represent my work for a most accurate family tree. I am no longer working on this, as it's just too much, but if you'd like to try I'm happy to offer my best advice and knowledge on the subject ;).

((Personally I think the best way to do this would be to have an official form where family claims are filed, and then a shareable family tree that could be edited and viewed online, but I didn't find a great way to do that. Microsoft has flowchart type application, but it doesn't support enough text bubbles to actually use it for this (I tried) so... yeah... I think when the fortehn cooked section was added it was added into the middle of the cookeh part? Or more was added about the cookeh without another heading after fortehn cookehs. Regardless this needs rearranging or a heading added. (I would have done it but there is also a "written by Samuel Hewitt" in there that seems randomly places as well, and I'm really not sure where that goes since the line above it is closed as a quote from Elsa Powers.) I decided I should start a journal. After all, I aM the historian. or - I will be, as soon as Sarah Thompson initiates me. A lot has been happening, but I have not been able to document much. Loochs has demanded almost all of my attention. However... it all started (or - on the outside, it looks like it all started) with a post that Jared Lemmon made in the Courtyard on 8/14, at 8:59 am. It read:

It's almost that time of year- the time of year the Stucco emerges from their desolate caves and brings the party to this place 👀

it sparked a RP war, between many, many different sides. It was all very confusing, and as I said, Loochs demanded almost all of my attention, so I really don't know what all of the sides are. All I know, as I have said many times, is that I am only concerned with protecting StuCo. (aka, Cora, who is the current president, Silas, the 10th grade rep, and whoever else is on StuCo.) I am the personal bodyguard of two people - (not sure how that works, actually lol) those people being Hallie and Cora. Hallie is the leader of the Royalists - those who have sworn to protect StuCo. Cora is the president, so obviously I'm going to protect her. Our main opposition is the Communists - not sure what their official title is. They are led mainly by Earl, and their goal is to overthrow StuCo. They don't seem to really have a rEASON for it - they just say that they're tired of the tyrany.

and what tyranny is this? is StuCo holding you down, stopping you from saying what you want?

I think not.From what I can see, you're fighting just for the fun of it - not for any real cause.it's not like you have even come to stuco with any complaints, ever - one day, you were bored, and so declare war.

StuCo is only trying to maintain its rightful position of power, eLECTED power, not power forced over the masses by a few who claim to be someone special.We stand for the people. We stand against anarchy, or worse, dictatorship. If the "communists" win, what will stop Earl from assuming the role of "leader," and thus essentially becoming a dictator?

We already have a leader - one that the people of NSA elected. They have chosen their leader. Will they not now stand behind that choice, and defend StuCo, defend themselves, and defend NSA itself from this anarchy?make your choice. I hope you choose wisely

There's also apparently a group, called the Spampire? I'm not sure what their goal is exactly - but last I knew, they say they're aligned with the Royalists.

There are tons of spies everywhere, but Hallie is working on implementing a plan to have a "Council" of only the most trusted leaders - Silas, Cora, Me, Anna, Avi, Gabe, and Jared L.

But also - I'm soon going to be initiated into the Mages Guild. I will receive the role of Historian, as I run the wiki and devote a lot of spare time to Lore. Thus, I will automatically get the Aquamarine aura. I'm also planning on getting the Blue-Orange aura, as it seems really useful lol

Another random note - (I should organize this better later)
There was the original Royalist group, but that's dead now. Then, we started the Royalist Faction. However, there were a lot of spies in that, so another chat was formed, called the "actual royalist faction." with the hOPE to not include any of the spies. (I suspect there are some spies in it, though)

so.... for now, I'm just protecting StuCo. Hallie said she would write about what has happened so far, so if she does then that can get added to the wiki at some point.

There has been some talk about the Diamonds of NSA - someone said that they're in the hands of the Communists. I wouldn't put it past Earl to be waaaayyyy OP and somehow resurrect them. I mean, he has like - at least 8 auras lol

in fact, I don't think either side will ever win the war. Earl will never let himself die, so it will probably end with either - Earl retreating, (which I also don't think will happen) or both sides coming to a standoff.

Welp, Earl is getting mad, and ignoring BoP, so.... we are planning on surrendering. It's for the best. We don't want to cause any trouble, and Earl is taking things waaayyy to far.

OK, so... Here's what happened yesterday. So, at some point Josiah Hewitt (I think?) made a joke about hacking Earl's computer, and sending a bomb to his house. Or something like that. Earl got eXTREMELY upset, and started shouting in all caps that the police would come and arrest him for threatening Earl like that. Anyway, basically Earl was getting super mad at everyone, ignoring BoP, and.... just not treating it as a game. So, us in the Actual Royalist Faction held an unoffical meeting about what to do. We concluded that we should forefit (aka surrender) the war. Some members had concerns that this would make Earl proud, and he would boast about how he single-handedly defeated us, but we all agreed that it was more important that we didn't cause any real trouble. Earl had messaged Avi asking what we were going to do - if we would keep figting and "feel his wrath" or if we would surrender. So, she was the one who had to tell him our decision. She did so, the original thread was closed, the chats were renamed, and life went on as normal...

I guess I'm writing another journal entry? This doesn't deserve a wiki page, but I feel like I should write about it in case anyone else wants to go on a similar adventure.

It all started when I kept noticing notes at the bottom of some wiki pages that I was copying over. They read <nowiki>**</nowiki>Taken from September 2017's #SpreadtheGolden Navigator article** (with dates ranging from 2016 to 2017.) Obviously, if I could get copies of these articles, they would be amazing sources of information on lore. So, I went to https://www.navigator.northstar-academy.org/, the current Northstar Navigator site. However, currently this website only has articles from 2021 onward. A notice has been added on the front page, saying " DUE TO TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES, SOME PREVIOUS ARTICLES WRITTEN FOR THE NORTHSTAR NAVIGATOR HAVE BEEN TAKEN DOWN. THE STAFF IS WORKING HARD TO GET THESE ARTICLES BACK UP! THANK YOU FOR YOUR PATIENCE, AND IN THE MEANTIME, PLEASE ENJOY THE ARTICLES WE HAVE AVAILABLE." (this wasn't there when I initially started my search.) However, I was not deterred that easily. The first thing I did (I think? This whole thing started a long time ago) was to search the whole website for the articles. Who knew, maybe they just weren't linked to in an obvious place. In that search, I didn't find the articles, but I did find an article on the history of the Navigator. This was super interesting, but what was most helpful was a link to the old website: https://nsastuco.wixsite.com/navigator/articles. I'm not even sure why it was put there, as that site isn't up anymore. But I'm glad it was, because this meant I could turn to my old friend, the internet archive. If you don't know what the internet archive is, it's basically a website that has archived copies of anything and everything digital. That is, anything and everything that people decide is worth archiving. It's super useful for looking at older versions of websites - you can look up a website and see all the times it's been saved. However, there's a catch - someone has to save it. Websites aren't automatically saved. So, I crossed my fingers, and entered the URL. One result. It was from Jan. 18, 2023. "Surely, this must be too late?" I thought. But when I clicked on it, the website slowly loaded, and I became almost ecstatic. I soon calmed down, though, because another catch is that each page must be saved individually. So, if you save the front page of a website, only that page is saved, not all of the sub-pages, if that makes sense? Like, for this wiki - if I saved nsa.awkik.org, that would archive the front page, but nothing else. So, I started opening every visible link on that saved page, hoping that some others were archived as well. (Recently, I discovered a feature that allows you to search for all saved pages from a certain domain, but at that point I didn't know about it.) I was really only interested in the #SpreadTheGolden articles, so I clicked around until I found a #SpreadTheGolden tag. Thankfully, someone had saved that too. (Seriously, whoever saved all those pages - thank you, from the bottom of my heart. Really. I will forever be indebted to you for this wonderful act. Ok maybe that's pushing it a bit, but still thanks XD) Back to the story. On https://nsastuco.wixsite.com/navigator/articles/tags/spreadthegolden, there were five articles listed. Which is a little strange - I'm pretty sure more than that were published. But anyway. Click, click, click, click, click. Wait for the pages to load. (the internet archive isn't exactly the fastest) Three pages loaded. Two error messages. Apparently, whoever saved a bunch of pages only saved three of the #SpreadTheGolden pages. But that's three more than I could reasonably expect to find, so I was thrilled. I quickly bookmarked these pages, and read them. They were awesome! I'm pretty sure we already have most of one in parts on the wiki, but the other two were new to me. So - yeah! I found the articles! But was I done? No, sir. I knew for certain that I hadn't found aLL of the articles yet, so the hunt was still on. It was around this point that I figured out how to search for all pages under a domain, and this is how I found 68 articles from that old website. I have them all saved to my computer, waiting to be possibly put on the wiki. Sadly, what would have been the most helpful page of all was broken. It was a page with archives of previous articles from FirstClass - but the "download" area was just a gray block, with no clickable links. https://web.archive.org/web/20230118201413/https://nsastuco.wixsite.com/navigator/blank-page-1 I even delved into the website code, in case the download links were simply hidden, but came up empty-handed.

Currently, I'm working on messaging certain people who might have copies of articles. Hopefully, either I can get copies directly, or they'll be put up on the new website.

And... that's pretty much it. If you do have copies of old articles, or know someone who might, or even just have a hunch of where to find them, please contact me! At this point, I would almost be willing to swim to Hawaii to get the old articles ;-;

Hey Owen, I've noticed that some pages are now in a way "misnamed", as we have had more time after the page was created. Like "The 2021-2022 War (the ded war) (the muffin war)", is now out of date, and should be "The Scattered War". Another example is "2023 War for StuCo" which should now be "The Second Communist Revolution". I can't think of anymore right now, but I could find more. The Scattered War

The entire thing began with a story, [[Luke Hickox]] told a story in a chat (I believe it was called the Campfire chat, for telling fireside stories). The story was called [[EMOARMY]]. And eventually a separate chat was created for the story (or the name of the chat was changed), and at least one more section of the story was written (unconfirmed third). Eventually however we (some of the participants in the chat) realized that it looked like a contraction, EMO-ARMY, and we began taking positions in an army. As we (the inexperienced kids with no knowledge of NSA wars) became more educated and learned that NSA wars where a real thing, we decided we should begin one. And so I, [[User:BookWyrm|Noah Pendley]], left to form another army, unofficially kicking off the war.

This war started in early October when Luke Hickox and Noah Pendley (both great guys) decided they were bored and wanted to start one of the infamous NSA wars. The first 3 weeks were fast paced with both armies gathering members and spies crossing over into each side. Squadrons were set up and high councils elected. They planned for the war to start within 2 months…

Spies. Now that was the real highlight of this war. While the fighting techniques were outdated (most people choosing roleplaying) the spy systems in both armies were top notch, or so they thought. EMOARMY (Luke’s army) had the slightly better tactic because his spies worked mainly through private messages. This method, while inflicting confusion on fellow spies, ensured that the leaders of OVMA (Our Very Mature Army) (Noah’s army) stayed in the dark. While OVMA’s spying was less secretive, they had a spy chat with every spy and prospective spy, they were still able to gather info on their opposition. After a month, both armies knew pretty much everything that was going on in the other army. As much as the leaders tried, they were never able to keep spies out of their army,,, and their high councils.

For a while both armies worked on gathering members. War propaganda (taking the shape of memes and catchy phrases) flooded StuBo and HS. Barely a month into the war, another army popped up. This army was called SEArmy, ruled by Julia P. A smaller army, tis true, but they posed a threat to OVMA due to the amount of spies they had, if I do say so myself u_U Since SEArmy had branched off of EMOARMY they decided to not keep any spies there and instead quietly withdrew. As hard as SEArmy tried to keep themselves quiet, they failed. Within a week, 2 other armies knew of their existence, so there went that plan.

All chats were quite active for a while. But then came something that no one was expecting. A bunch of factions popped up. EVERYWHERE YOU TURNED THERE WERE FACTIONS. SERIOUSLY, THIS WAR HOLDS THE UNDISPUTED RECORD FOR THE MOST FACTIONS u_U Most of the large armies tried to swallow up the factions but factions are elusive and can create havoc without getting caught.

Armies continued growing, but at this point, most of that was just turning soldiers against their leaders and taking them for your own army. Double agents became extremely common and there were several people who were with all the armies. One of them was [[Jonatan Rauhala]] (who later went on to create his own army). Jonatan was originally part of OVMA as Second in Command. He helped OVMA get started but didn’t stick with them for long.

Before I go any further, we need to address former disputes that some students carried with them into this war. Jonatan and Gabe had faced off in the past and never had the best relations. As a result, [[Gabriel Nelson|Gabe]] and Joe were never on the same side. This went for several other people whom I won’t mention ‘cause of rEaSoNs (and cause I don’t want anyone to feel bad).

But anywho,,, it was late January before there was any real fighting. The first week of that was nuts. Noah started the thread in Newbies>Games and pinged everyone. And I mean everyone o_o Pinging, [[gabing]] and roleplaying abounded and, for a while, no one was bored. Week two also had a decent amount of action and week three was okay. But by week four, everything had died again.

It was the end of February before anything really happened again. And this thing was a big thing. MOSS took over OVMA completely.

Now this came as a surprise to most people. Joe’s army, M.O.S.S (Mysteriously Original Special Saberists) had kept quiet and very few people knew it was even a thing. MOSS made their grand entrance with a post in Stubo announcing themselves the leading army (since most other armies had died) and promptly overtook OVMA.

Now MOSS was created in early December by Joe and Julia. They slowly took on members and worked out strategies that well surpassed the other armies. They didn’t stick with rping but worked with manipulating lag and such. They had about 15 members before they took over OMVA which brought their numbers to 37. They celebrated with a muffin party as one does in this NSA war (hence why the name The Muffin War was considered for the name of the war)(as far as I know, there were 4 separate muffin parties and OVMA had an intense obsession with muffins because of the MG which will be explained in another article [[Mature Gang|[insert future link]]]).

So, yea, this brought EMOARMY back from the dead. Luke had left teams (for reasons I will not state here) so Gabe and Brayden became the new leaders. They did a lot of bluffing. Since Luke had gone, MOSS wasn’t still loyal to EMOARMY. MOSS and EMO went between enemy and frenemy for about a month until the war completely died.

== History of the Raiders I: ==
The Relic Raiders are a band of mythical pillagers that invade the wiki for the priceless knowledge it contains. While their very existence is yet to be confirmed, the footprints - so to speak - of their actions are quite visible. This phenomenon started back on June 15, 2020. After spending some time in the wiki, [[Anna Grings]] decided to review on the history of [[Zer0]] which was located at the end of the wiki. Upon arriving there, she was horrified to find that the entire section on Zer0 had vanished, leaving only the title as a grim reminder of the entity that once plagued NSA.

Despite the eerie occurrence, President [[Brooke Foster]] (at the time she was still Student Council Welcome Committee Leader) accessed the backup drive and quickly restored the section to the wiki. She, along with several others, theorized that a student had accidentally deleted the section and that a message needed to be announced. While this was certainly not the first time a student had accidentally dislodged something from the wiki in [[FirstClass]] (the platform NSA used before Microsoft Teams), this did take place only six days after the entire 'P' section had also been mysteriously deleted. So while technically the Relic Raiders were first observed on June 9, 2020, it was not until June 15 that people began to view this as a legitimate threat. And it was on June 26, 2020 that StuCo Welcome Committee Leader Brooke Foster officially restated that deleting articles from the wiki was illegal and warned everyone to cease such activities. The situation appeared to be dealt with leading [[Joshua Edmiston|Joshua Edmiston]] to declare the scandal as being 'Wikigate.' This name was widely accepted, but unknown to them, the situation would soon spiral out of control.

Upon making the statement, sections of the wiki ceased to be deleted leading many to believe that this really was just a misguided student who did not know better. After the transition of power, there was another cited witness of someone having deleted the wiki, exactly a month after the June 15 incident. This time it was the 'N' section that had been wiped off the face of the Earth. Again, it was Anna Grings who reported the incident - this time to the new StuCo Welcome Committee Leader, Holly Rogers - saying that another section had vanished. This was reported on July 15, 2020 and was quickly dealt with by restoring the data via the backup drive. It should be noted that it was Anna Grings who reported these findings on the June 9, June 15, and July 15 incidents. This disturbance was minor as it was both quickly resolved as well as the fact that it had taken place in the midst of summer break leaving many uninformed that it ever even happened in the first place. However, there were some who were beginning to see a trend, a trend they most certainly wished to stop.

== History of the Raiders II: ==
After the July 15 incident, there were no more disturbances concerning to wiki for some time. In fact, the remainder of the summer of 2020 was marked with quiet peace concerning both NSA and Teams. At the dawn of the 2020-2021 school year, many were heightened when it came to security. Considering the previous year contained the downfall of the Noble and Ancient Thread, the Communist Revolution of 2019, and the Reign of Terror, the situation at NSA could be best described as secure. In these early days, weapons such as Mass [[Gabing]], Chat Raiding, and even the dreaded [[Project @tom Bomb|@tom Bomb]] were invented. These major achievements in cyber weaponry forced the Relic Raiders underground during these discoveries. However, with such power came the question of who would oversee it. The war between the [[The Light Brigade|Light Brigade]] and the [[NSA Mafia|Mafia]] determined who would be the ruling party within NSA. Despite this war not originating from the topic of safe-guarding the wiki, it was certainly a responsibility that would be obtained by the victor. But as students such as [[Keenan Watt]], Davina Elms, [[Gabriel Nelson|Gabe Nelson]], and Sarah Grace clashed in the [[The Great HS War of 2020|Great High School War of 2020]], attention to the wiki was waning to a point that would eventually prove to be costly.

While the war was raging, there were still those who sought power in the wiki. Many years ago, the [[Historian]] and Librarian would safeguard the wiki as well as oversee and manage it. The role of Historian was changed in the summer of 2017 with Ashley Klassen being the last official Historian on the Student Council in the 2016-2017 school year. The Historian would henceforth be called the Editor-in-Chief. The position of Librarian would last until the summer of 2018 with Emily Toepler being the last official Librarian on the Student Council. The Editor-in-Chief would carry the duties of both the Historian and Librarian until the summer of 2019 with Savannah Laux being the last Editor-in-Chief. After the transition of power, North Star Academy made the Great Switch from FirstClass to Teams. The Student Council saw no need to have someone defending the wiki as threats such as Zer0 were theorized to have died with FirstClass. However, there were many who still respected these roles which meant that there was a power vacuum that would need to be filled.

The War ended on September 30, 2020 with the Mafia emerging victorious. Keenan Watt - the leader of the mafia - had sustained a heavy blow during her absence from academic activities and was forced to temporarily withdraw from Teams. She left her second in command - Gabe Nelson - in charge of the Mafia. He first renamed the Mafia to the North Star Academy Liberty Agency and sought to expand the [[NSALA]]'s sphere of influence. His sights were set on the wiki as controlling it would result in being engraved in NSA history forever. Unknown to him was that another student was already advancing on the wiki. During the war, [[Joshua Edmiston]] had engaged in a short, but fierce battle with [[Micah Phillips]] over control of the attic. Joshua won the battle and used the now renovated attic to operate out of. He evicted all of his opponents occupying the attic and exiled them to the shed so they would no longer pose a viable threat to his operations. He then announced in mid-October that he would be writing a series that would document the recent adventures and wars of NSA since the Great Switch. This sounded very reminiscent of the duties only the Historian was allowed to carry out. The race for the wiki had begun.

Fortunately for Gabe, on November 2, 2020, Joshua was summoned to deal with corruption charges made in the Prayer Hall. This allowed for Gabe to make the first move. He quickly studied all he needed to know about NSA history while Joshua formed the AAA (Anti-Apologizing Agency). He then moved in and wrote several quick articles about fads and traditions made since the Great Switch. None of these articles exceeded that of a large section, but the name of Gabe Nelson rapidly spread throughout the wiki. Once Gabe had the articles in place, he was ready to announce that he was the new Historian. But before he could, Joshua announced that the AAA was victorious and that the war was over. This made it the fastest war in NSA history with only 10 days of fighting (it wasn’t even a War, WHO EDITED THIS INEWOFIOMFWEF….I NEVER STARTED A RACE FOR thE WIKIIIIIII…). Joshua could then resume the almost completed super-section and also have a claim on the wiki. Even worse for Gabe was that this was the same day that the Ice Cream Truck Rebellion was formed by [[Anna Barry]] and Cole Stanley. The NSALA's sphere of influence had officially collided with those in Middle and Elementary School. Shortly after this, [[Jonatan Rauhala|Joe Rauhala]] created the No Empire dedicated to halting the expanse of the NSALA. Other empires such as the Wolf Empire, Fox Empire, and revived Bunny Empire also declared war against the NSALA. This forced Gabe to withdraw from the wiki entirely to deal with the Rise of Empires.

With Gabe back at war, Joshua released The Revolt with no opposition on November 11, 2020. This article was the longest in NSA history, even topping out sections such as NSA Diamonds and Zer0. Joshua was declared Historian but quickly realized that the power of the Historian was not as powerful as it once was. He realized that anybody was permitted to edit the wiki and that acquiring the role of Historian was only a psychological increase in power; he did not find a fragment of Student Council power that he had expected. So Joshua also temporarily withdrew from the wiki and joined Spencer's effort to unite all the Empires into one Federation. (which failed)

Introduction 1:

Supposedly Dorgan though it is what was written at the beginning her original diary, and he swears this is not what he wrote.

There is one who has never been known to speak, she is more legend than truth though entirely real. She was born to a witch, who branded her and cursed her, when born, to never talk and never learn to write, but only be freed if thanked for an act of kindness. Her mother would name, and except her the day she was thanked, but no one ever has.

Most of the time the mark on her forehead alone kept people from talking to her, but even when it didn’t, they were never kind, and even less so when she didn’t answer. When she tries to help all, they see is one who has been cursed messing with their things, which to even the least superstitious is an obvious bad omen, and could bring the witch who cursed her down on them. So, time and time again she is screamed at, kicked out, and even attacked in trying to be helpful and kind, but only turned out in one way or another in the end.

Introduction 2: Tricialyn

My name is Trycialyn, this is the story of my life. I am sharing it because we need to unite and not allow witches, curses, and disabilities separate us, or indeed anything even if those aren’t in this story. I have been cursed, as you prolly read above where Dorgan wrote in his introduction to my story. I am only now able to write this or communicate in any way because he freed me of the curse and taught me to write.

Well, I could write before, but people could not read my writing, I was cursed to only write in dead languages. So, I am now translating my journal from a variety of dead languages to the common tongue.

Day 1: Tricialyn (it will remain so until otherwise specified)

I am pretty excited, I finally got something to write with. So, I have decided that I will keep a journal if only to keep myself sane, though only I, myself, will be able to read it. Not much else other than mine finding this book happened today though, so bye!!!

Day 2:

So, reading the first and only entry not from me in the diary I learned about my curse, which explains why I have never been understood and everyone seems to hate me. I still don’t understand why they should hate me though it does make more sense. So here marks the start of my quest, I must get someone to thank me, whatever they may be thanking me for.

Day 3:

So….today I went to the market thinking surely there would be someone there who would need help with something, but I regress, it was not worthwhile, I was screamed at, kicked, punched, thrown out, and cursed in eight languages, yet no one said a kind word. So now I just hope I think of something better tomorrow.

Day 4:

Well, I tried the tavern today, but I was rejected very strongly and only just came out of my stupor from the beating I got in being ejected. Today was not better.

Day 5:

Today I tried a more subtle approach, I went to a farmer’s house and collected his hen’s eggs, I was going to put them by the back door, but the maid came in as I was collecting them, and I got a bucket to the head for my efforts.

Day 6:

I went back to that farmers house, but this time I was more watchful, and decided the coup was too enclosed and I needed something I could do while having a way out if someone came along, so this time I decided to milk their cows. But it turns out that it is much harder than it looks to milk a cow, all I succeeded in doing was irritating that cow. (It turned out later to not be a milk cow but that’s beside the point)

Day 7:

So…I went back yet again, now knowing that they keep the milk cows somewhere else I tried again there. I was successful in milking the cows, but when the maid found the milk on the porch she started cursing about how they aren’t supposed to be milked on Tuesdays, so I must have made a mistake.

Message: Still Tricialyn

I am going to skip over most of the next the next 200 0r so entries in the next year spent journaling about the days spent failing to break my curse, but I will just pop in a few eventful ones then get on with the story.

Day 32:

Today I took a big step tward freedom, but then, sadly, freedom took a huge leap away from me. I woke up early today and picked three dozen apples and left them on the doorstep of that poor family on Linger Road, then I hid in the brush and waited til they came out and found them. Their young daughter was the first to come out, and she ran back in and brought her mother out. Then when her mother came out she saw them and began to pray thanking the lord. Sadly this didn’t count as I am not the lord.

Day 64:

The guy under the well wrote a message in the bucket thanking me for the food I leave for him, but it seems my curse doesn’t accept a written thank you as freedom.

Day 83:

Today was unfruitful as before, but it gave me inspiration. I realized that I could cover my forehead and not be as easily recognized as accursed.

Sidenote: Tricialyn

Covering my face allowed me to avoid as much violence in my confrontations, but it sadly also made me more conspicuous in addition to my not speaking, it unsettled most people, and few would even glance at me.

Day 142:

I swept the porch of the sheriff’s office, but he asked my name then got distracted by someone walking by and didn’t get back to it because I couldn’t get his attention. Then the person talking to them said I was cursed and the conversation ended...

Day 182:

Today my bandanna fell over my eyes and I stumbled into someone’s table. But they didn’t curse me or even push me away, they just apologized. But I still couldn’t say anything so I ended up leaving, but I am going to look for that guy again.

Side note: Dorgan

I was that guy, I was quite surprised when I saw that she was marked, but I thought: who knows who made the mark, and it could have been for any reason. So why should I avoid them and treat them badly? I then decided that I wouldn’t but would wait to see if she showed reason to be cursed.

Day 216:

His house!! I found it!!! He lives on Norbert Street in the third right building down the street from Main. Tomorrow I will think about how I can help.

Side note: Tricialyn

He was the first person I met who didn’t instantly attack or diss me. So, don’t blame me for being excited.

Day 217:

So today I spent my time trying to figure out how what I could do that this guy might appreciate, in the end the only thing I came to was cooking dinner, everything in his house was pristine, and there wasn’t much to do…

I did notice that she was hanging around my house…but I couldn’t think of what to do or say to her about it…so I just left it…

Day 218: Tricialyn

So today while he was out for the afternoon I snuck into his house and made a big dinner, but then when he came back he had two other people with him, who appeared to be his parents, so I snuck out the back door.

Day 218: Dorgan

When I came in today, I expected to find an empty house, but I got there to find my parents sitting on the porch…so I brought them in despite being completely unprepared for their arrival. But when I came in, I found a hot meal on the table, though I swear it was not there when I left and I have no idea how it got there. I didn’t know what to do with it though, so I pretended to my parents that it was expected though it really baffled me.

Day 219: Tricialyn

So, I got up my courage today…and I went and knocked on his door…He must have made the connection when I did because he asked if I was the one who made his dinner the other day. I nodded my head because that’s as much communication as I am able to make. AND HE THANKED ME!!!! NOWWWW I AMMMM FRREEEEEEEE!!!!! I tried to thank him..but my throat wouldn’t form the words after 15 years of making none. So I ended up sleeping on the couch that night still having not got a sensible word out yet.

Day 219: Dorgan

This morning when I found that girl on my doorstep…I really didn’t know what to think, but then I thought about the food yesterday and realized it must have been her. So I asked her, I was a little surprised she didn’t answer out loud but I thanked her anyway. (Which apparently freed her from a curse.) She didn’t say much but had racking coughs and tried to speak but couldn’t so I brought her in and got her water. She wasn’t able to say anything understandable but she tried, eventually I offered her the couch and went to bed.

Day 220: Tricialyn

I woke up the next morning, and though my voice was croaky it did work, and I was able to explain in part how I ended up in my predicament. I don’t know how much he believed but I think he at least listened. Afterwards he offered to teach me to write, which I gladly accepted.

Day 220: Dorgan

In the morning her voice worked, I was at least able to understand most of what she said. Though it was beyond my comprehension how it could possibly be real. When she finished I decided to humor her and offer to teach her to write. She quickly agreed, and wanted to do it as quickly as possible. So I planned to teach her the next day.

So that is how I learned to write and started to translate my journal. From here I hope to write more.

== Hand Me That Stick! ==
Hand Me That Stick is perhaps the best known of all the Spam folders. Located in the High School Interest Areas, it is the long-rumored hiding place of many [[Sticks of Poweh]]. Poems have been written about the folder.<ref>[[Hand Me That Stick! (poem)]]</ref> It is generally used for adventures and such, although randomness still runs at large. The name of the folder even has its own history. Whenever the name of the folder is uttered, the roof comes crashing down on all within. Even if there is no roof, one appears, then promptly falls.

Now this, my dear ladies and gentlemen, is a place that is near and dear to my heart. I remember as an MSer I would hear tales of adventures going on in the Spam folder, but search as I might, it was inaccessible to someone of my lowly station... ahem grade. HMTS has been around for longer than any of us can remember. It was created by an unknown genius and has many many tales to tell from its history. Many a battle has been fought and won among the halls of the Sticks of Poweh and ironically this is where the majority of the [[Diamonds of NSA|NSA Diamonds]] have been found throughout the various crusades to retrieve them. However, the coolest thing about the HMTS folder is its special power. Or, maybe you could say it's its pet peeve.

You see, when you are in the folder and you say "Hand Me That Stick!" the folder has an automatic defense mechanism that makes the roof cave in, allowing the announcer to have time to protect him or herself while their enemies are unaware of their impending doom. However, whenever the roof falls in, a new roof forms on top of the rubble (and I guess walls too? No one ever really go that far in the explanation, but I always thought that it would be cool if the roof was freestanding with no walls.) and the story moves on! And, even if the adventurers in the folder are in the middle of the wilderness with no trees or roofs to be seen, as soon as someone says "Hand me that stick!" a roof appears and promptly falls. Honestly it's an excellent source of resources when one is low on building supplies. U_U Now then, this handy dandy tool doesn't necessarily have to be used as a defense mechanism either. I remember one time Kirsten Temple got a cool new flying suit and wanted to try it out so we chanted HMTS a bunch of times until we created a mountain to jump off of and test out the suit. It worked splendidly! However, if you do this, just make sure that you're not destroying your friend's sandcastle in the process because things could get verryyy messy. U_U

In Teams HMtS, was a active folder full of, stick puns, stick wars, and just plain iNSAnity. But it also had a dark side that was much hushed up. A student was killed in the channel, [[Ruthie Overholt|Ruthie Underholt]]. This was also the day that the NSA diamonds went missing. True to NSA, it seemed that it had a transfer that day, from the old FC lore to new Teams lore.

== Other (functions/functionality) ==
HMTS's destructive power, I believe, has been made quite clear, the potential for death ([[Ruthie Overholt|Ruthie Underholt]]) and destruction. But there is a little bit more that can be said about this phrase.

The deadly affects of HMTS-ing can be reversed, if one has a suitably quick reaction time and skills in the speaking of gibberish department. (I'm not sure I possess either of these.) After HMTS has been invoked it is possible to stop or reverse the effects by saying it backwards (kcits taht em dnah). The amount of time after the original invocation for which the counteracter can be effective is unclear, though it seems that one generally cannot reverse it after the ceiling has hit the floor.

Beyond it's power when used with the word "stick" a stick may be "used" with the phrase "hand me that _____" in other ways. With some cooldown time, and possibly other unknown limitations, the phrase "hand me that [insert person's name here]" said with a stick in hand can be used to teleport the stick holder to said person [the person who's name was used].<ref>I, Noah, learned this from [[Annalisa Grings]] during some roleplay.</ref>

As to the specifics of the cooldown time, what other limitations there are, how it is decided who you are teleported to when there are multiple people by said name, and when this relatively little known magic was discovered are unknown to me, but this is another purpose/usage of a stick. (It also helps to explain why one might ignorantly (of the consequences) request to be given a stick.)

:The way it is set up already with a dictionary category and a page for each term is better. With only one page, it would be harder to find a specific term, even though it would be in alphebetical order. With each term condensed in seperate pages, it makes it easier to find the term, because they are listed in one category. It is also easier to add a new separate page to the dictionary category. If there was only one page, there would be a greater risk of messing up someone else's edits when adding a new term. The way it is currently set up is more organized and easier to follow. The First Saga is more of a tradition in NSA.

Every time a new club or team is released, everybody wants their name as the first post. This tradition was formed in 2019, when NSA switched from [[FirstClass]] to Teams, as just a fun joke. It usually involves a person posting "FIRST", and they others posting "second", "third", or "Seven hundred Million" (To be silly), to show the order they "joined".

It can be objectively stated that if you don't post on that thread, you never arrive. And that even the first post does not count, and that the first post is objectively the thread that starts the bragging rights war. If you post "FIRST" and are the first thread to do so, you can brag about how you were first to be in that team or channel.

In summary, be first to new teams, and watch out and post to show that you were truly first. And a area is never inaugurated until this post shows up.

As a side note I'd like to point out Cody Johnson (who was a long term StuCo member, and eventual president) attempted to stop these threads (unfortunately I have no screenshots or exact quotes), likely something to the point of "it's not the intended purpose of the channel" however it never stopped a new thread from starting with every new channel, and often didn't stop people from continuing it anyways. So, in memory of him I often reference his turning in his grave *as I reply and add my number to the list* :D

Started by Shelli Selby, the series of threads "Lets Count" and "Lets Count: Continued" are filled with messages, mostly just people counting (the original thread started at one (presumably- I will not be verifying this) and counting one number per message, mostly no one person twice in a row, the participants have together counted from one to (currently as of October 30, 2023, at 11:52am CST) seven thousand, two hundred, and seventeen. The current thread (made October 16th) has had 33 respondents (over the course of the almost 631 messages).

(I do believe that they began counting backwards at some point around two thousand- I don't know if that is true or if it is when they turned around again and started going forwards, but as of right now it's at 7217 and increasing)

It was interesting going through the all pages section and finding a page titled "Mental Health Resources" (so of course I had to read it). And while I am not sure if every piece of NSA writing should be in the NSA wiki (Is the library file intended to have all such pieces of random writing??). Anyways, it was a fun read and I approve of this pages existence u_u.

Struggle is part of life, that does not mean you should carry it through life alone, that means it's something you shouldn't be afraid to share with other people <3 I promise it's infinitely better and easier to share a burden than it is to carry it, and much more likely to go away that way. Another one is Esther Noeth, her sons Jared Cheaz and Caleb Calhoun and their

Another family is Ruth Hopkins (Student) as mom and Elsa Powers and [[Anna Barry]] as her children. these two families are actually in the same one, with Ruth Hopkins, Tirzah Hopkins, Shawn-David Logan and Esther being siblings in the same family. Katelynn (Kate) Rogerson (Student) is their cousin.

Another family is [[Ruthie Overholt]] who had a lot children. Her children were Dorshea, Fianna, De’Arkyia, and she soon adopted Anna Barry, and Elsa Powers. No one remembers all of Ruthie’s children.

Another family, Kasandra (Kasie) Gillum-Carr (Student) and Gabriel (Gabe) Lam Yuen (Student) have three children: Kaitlyn Stephan (oldest), Jared Cheaz (middle), and Naomi Noeth (youngest). The family also has an uncle: Ryan Boren, and an aunt: Saron Mengistu

The entire thing began with a story, [[Luke Hickox]] told a story in a chat (I believe it was called the Campfire chat, for telling fireside stories). The story was called [[EMOARMY]]. And eventually a separate chat was created for the story (or the name of the chat was changed), and at least one more section of the story was written (unconfirmed third). Eventually however we (some of the participants in the chat) realized that it looked like a contraction, EMO-ARMY, and we began taking positions in an army. As we (the inexperienced kids with no knowledge of NSA wars) became more educated and learned that NSA wars where a real thing, we decided we should begin one. And so I, Noah Pendley, left to form another army, unofficially kicking off the war.

This war started in early October when Luke Hickox and Noah Pendley (both great guys) decided they were bored and wanted to start one of the infamous NSA wars. The first 3 weeks were fast paced with both armies gathering members and spies crossing over into each side. Squadrons were set up and high councils elected. They planned for the war to start within 2 months…

Spies. Now that was the real highlight of this war. While the fighting techniques were outdated (most people choosing roleplaying) the spy systems in both armies were top notch, or so they thought. EMOARMY (Luke’s army) had the slightly better tactic because his spies worked mainly through private messages. This method, while inflicting confusion on fellow spies, ensured that the leaders of OVMA (Our Very Mature Army) (Noah’s army) stayed in the dark. While OVMA’s spying was less secretive, they had a spy chat with every spy and prospective spy, they were still able to gather info on their opposition. After a month, both armies knew pretty much everything that was going on in the other army. As much as the leaders tried, they were never able to keep spies out of their army,,, and their high councils.

For a while both armies worked on gathering members. War propaganda (taking the shape of memes and catchy phrases) flooded StuBo and HS. Barely a month into the war, another army popped up. This army was called SEArmy, ruled by Julia P. A smaller army, tis true, but they posed a threat to OVMA due to the amount of spies they had, if I do say so myself u_U Since SEArmy had branched off of EMOARMY they decided to not keep any spies there and instead quietly withdrew. As hard as SEArmy tried to keep themselves quiet, they failed. Within a week, 2 other armies knew of their existence, so there went that plan.

All chats were quite active for a while. But then came something that no one was expecting. A bunch of factions popped up. EVERYWHERE YOU TURNED THERE WERE FACTIONS. SERIOUSLY, THIS WAR HOLDS THE UNDISPUTED RECORD FOR THE MOST FACTIONS u_U Most of the large armies tried to swallow up the factions but factions are elusive and can create havoc without getting caught.

Armies continued growing, but at this point, most of that was just turning soldiers against their leaders and taking them for your own army. Double agents became extremely common and there were several people who were with all the armies. One of them was Jonatan Rauhala (who later went on to create his own army). Jonatan was originally part of OVMA as Second in Command. He helped OVMA get started but didn’t stick with them for long.

Before I go any further, we need to address former disputes that some students carried with them into this war. Jonatan and Gabe had faced off in the past and never had the best relations. As a result, [[Gabriel Nelson|Gabe]] and Joe were never on the same side. This went for several other people whom I won’t mention ‘cause of rEaSoNs (and cause I don’t want anyone to feel bad).

But anywho,,, it was late January before there was any real fighting. The first week of that was nuts. Noah started the thread in Newbies>Games and pinged everyone. And I mean everyone o_o Pinging, [[gabing]] and roleplaying abounded and, for a while, no one was bored. Week two also had a decent amount of action and week three was okay. But by week four, everything had died again.

It was the end of February before anything really happened again. And this thing was a big thing. MOSS took over OVMA completely.

Now this came as a surprise to most people. Joe’s army, M.O.S.S (Mysteriously Original Special Saberists) had kept quiet and very few people knew it was even a thing. MOSS made their grand entrance with a post in Stubo announcing themselves the leading army (since most other armies had died) and promptly overtook OVMA.

Now MOSS was created in early December by Joe and Julia. They slowly took on members and worked out strategies that well surpassed the other armies. They didn’t stick with rping but worked with manipulating lag and such. They had about 15 members before they took over OMVA which brought their numbers to 37. They celebrated with a muffin party as one does in this NSA war (hence why the name The Muffin War was considered for the name of the war)(as far as I know, there were 4 separate muffin parties and OVMA had an intense obsession with muffins because of the MG which will be explained in another article [insert future link]).

So, yea, this brought EMOARMY back from the dead. Luke had left teams (for reasons I will not state here) so Gabe and Brayden became the new leaders. They did a lot of bluffing. Since Luke had gone, MOSS wasn’t still loyal to EMOARMY. MOSS and EMO went between enemy and frenemy for about a month until the war completely died.

That brings us up to today so,,, if anyone has anything I missed or should add I’ll have suggestions open so just add it. Also I may have been a bit biased so you can change that up a bit if you want.
